Delete it yourself
In the app
- Open BellBoard and tap the person icon (Account).
- Tap Delete account.
- Read what will be deleted, type DELETE, and confirm.
On the website
- Sign in at bellboard.net and open Settings, then Family.
- Choose Delete my account.
- Read what will be deleted, type DELETE, and confirm.
Delete your data but keep your account
You can remove data without deleting your account:
- Everything in the family: the family owner can sign in at bellboard.net, open Settings, then Family, and choose Delete family data. This removes the children, schools, calendar sources, calendar items, imported school email, reminders, Telegram connections, and Alexa links, and ends the family's subscription on the website. Your sign-in stays so you can start again.
- Individual items: in the app or on the website you can delete a single calendar item, a child, a school email, or a calendar source at any time.
- Anything else: email support@bellboard.net from the address on your account and tell us what to remove. We will confirm and complete it.
What is deleted
- If you are the family owner, the whole family is deleted: children, schools, calendar sources, calendar items, imported school email, reminders, Telegram connections, Alexa links, invitations, and every member's access to this family. People you invited keep their own sign-ins and can start a new family.
- If you were invited to someone else's family, you leave that family and your account is deleted. The family itself is not affected.
- Your sign-in (email, name, and any Google or Apple link) is deleted from our sign-in provider.
Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
Your subscription
- A subscription bought on bellboard.net is cancelled automatically when the family owner deletes the account.
- A subscription bought through the App Store is not cancelled by deleting your account. Cancel it in your Apple Account settings (Settings, your name, Subscriptions) so you are not charged again.
- A subscription bought through Google Play is not cancelled by deleting your account either. Cancel it in the Play Store (profile picture, Payments & subscriptions, Subscriptions) so you are not charged again.
What we may keep
Payment records held by Stripe and Apple, security and error logs kept for a limited time, and short-lived backups are retained as needed for tax, payment, security, and legal reasons. See the Privacy Policy.
Can't sign in?
Email support@bellboard.net from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We will confirm and complete the deletion.
